Zachary Janneberg,
age 16 was killed in a single car accident on his
way to school on March 20th, 2007. Zach had only
been driving for 3 months. He had taken an on-line
course of study so that he could pass his DMV
written test and then enrolled in a private driving
school where he received about 6 hours of
professional behind the wheel training.
Investigators at the
scene of the fatal accident offered a lack of
experience as a possible cause.
Chuck
Taylor, Z ach's
grandfather has begun an effort to put drivers
education back in California high schools and is
asking groups, clubs, governments and individuals to
sign it. Taylor will then take the mandate to
Sacramento and request a change in our states driver
education laws.
